Mental Health Clinicians (Master’s Level)
Ferreras Counseling & Wellness Center is a growing mental health clinic looking to hire experienced, dedicated and compassionate fulltime clinicians to join our team in all locations.
We are offering $2,000 signing bonus.
Responsibilities:
Lead individual, family, couples, and group therapy
Conduct client intake sessions & assess client’s need/readiness for services
Facilitate crisis intervention
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for proper treatment
Ability to identify problem behaviors, provide advice and track development effectively through treatment plans
Demonstrate an understanding of patient needs when devising and implementing treatment
Attends scheduled staff meetings and supervises master's level clinicians on a weekly basis (only when appropriate depending on license)
Submits all required progress notes and reports on a timely basis
Qualifications:
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate work
Experience with youth and their families a plus
Experience or understanding of underserved populations, a plus
Master’s level degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or a master degree with a concentration in one of the areas of Counseling such as: Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Rehabilitation Counseling required
LCSW/ LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT eligible license in Massachusetts
Experience or degree on treating dual diagnosis clients is a plus
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus.
Proficient with EHR programs and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PDF)
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as being highly self-directed
Sense of humor and flexibility needed
Self-motivated, a self-starter, and desire to learn Initial

Interviews will be conducted over the phone and/or Zoom. Willingness to conduct sessions via teletherapy until we return to an office setting; while following the CDC and state COVID19 guidelines for Health Services businesses.
