Clinical Supervisor
Ferreras Counseling & Wellness Center is a growing mental health clinic looking to hire an experienced, dedicated and compassionate fulltime Clinical Supervisor for our Jamaica Plain location.
We are offering a $3,000 signing bonus.
Responsibilities:
Supports evaluation of program services to enhance patient quality of care and clinician work experience
Participates in the review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures
Leads group supervision and participates in monthly staff meetings
Maintaining progress notes and treatment plans
Supervises and manages master’s level and post license clinicians
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for proper treatment
Assist clinicians by supervising complex cases
Counseling, motivating and disciplining clinicians, and referring complex issues to upper management
Performs chart progress note and treatment plan audit; and communicates results to staff
Issues Performance Improvement Plans to employees not meeting productivity requirements or company policies
Participates in management meetings with managers and supervisors
Liaison between upper management and clinicians
Qualifications:
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
3 years post-licensure experience with 2 years supervision experience
Experience or understanding of underserved populations, a plus
Master’s level degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or a master’s degree with a concentration in one of the areas of Counseling such as: Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Rehabilitation Counseling required
LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT license in Massachusetts required
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus
Comfortable working with a diverse population
Proficient with EHR programs and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PDF)
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, being highly self-directed
Sense of humor and flexibility needed
Self-motivated, a self-starter, and desire to learn
